Historic 1929 Hangar Open House

Explore the beautiful and historic 1929 hangar at Albany Municipal Airport during the NW Art & Air Festival. Just steps away from the festival activities, visitors can tour the Albany Air Museum, located inside Oregon’s oldest aviation building.

The hangar will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on August 22 and 23. Guests can get a sneak peek at what’s happening inside this historic aviation hub, meet dedicated volunteers, learn about plans for the year ahead, and view exhibits that highlight Albany’s rich aviation history.

Whether a pilot, a history enthusiast, or simply curious, all are welcome to stop in. Admission is free, and the event is family-friendly.
